Castles in the Sand

She plays beside the restless sea,
        her world within her hands...
To such a child, 'Reality', is sun
        and sky and land...

She'll dream her dreams and live her days,
       While many years rush by...
Yet, deep inside, in hidden place,
        this child will never die...

Through all the storms of life and love,
        She's kept her spirit free...
   Her hopes and dreams are unrestrained,
        just like the ancient sea...

And now she sits beside the sea,
       Her world within her hands...
The tides of time can never steal her
        castles in the sand....
