"Meet Me in the Meadow" |
by Sunnyone |
Meet me in the meadow, just before the dawn chases evening shadows, and lights the path you're on... I'll be waiting for you, by the trickling stream... Over by the arch...where two weeping willows lean... There among the flowers, I'll lay our blanket down... We can stay for hours...no one is around... Soft and gentle breezes o'er our bodies play... It touches and it teases...sweeps our cares away... We could love forever, if we lived in rhyme... Parting would be never...captives for all time... So, meet me in the meadow, just before the light... Maybe gypsy magic will cast it's spell tonight... |
